Associate Data Protection Manager
The overall responsibility of this function is to maintain an effective Data Protection Program in Zeiss China. The main objectives are to support the following actions:
§Establishes and updates data inventories, data flow maps cross BUs.
§Maintains training materials of China data protection, privacy, and related laws.
§Follow-up data subject requirements and coordinate implementation with stakeholders
§Update knowledge and guideline on the processing of data security and personal information protection
§Supports the Global/APAC projects landing in Zeiss China entities.
§Responses to data breach and relevant notification procedure as defined by corporate standard operation procedures.
§Report promulgation of new laws and regulations and important data privacy events
§Support the monitoring of system/process development for privacy compliance
§Understands new privacy technologies and assists deployment of privacy-enhancing procedures
Education / ????
- Degrees associated in information management, legal compliance, or other intersection, are preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree or above.
Experience / ??
5+ years professional experience in a role involving privacy, program/project management, change management, process/organizational development, or compliance analysis, preferably within a technology setting and/or a legal setting.
Other skills / ????
- Fluent language skills in English and Chinese (written and oral) .
- Proficiency in MS Office - PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Experience with privacy-related technology solutions (e.g., OneTrust)
- Certification in Privacy (e.g., CIPP, CIPT, CIPM, CDPSE certification) is preferred
