As a Conference Assistant Manager, you will have direct contact with clients and colleagues so your communication skills will be superb.

What you will be doing:

· You will handle meeting enquiries and bookings, ensuring a prompt and professional response and conversion of event booked in order to drive the revenue.

· You will be delivering memorable, well executed and professional events.

· You will supervise the activities of the Meeting and Events team, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and performing duties.

· Assisting with the set up and duration of all conferences and work closely with the Restaurant and Conference Manager and Head Chef.

· You will be able to adapt to work in other relevant departments to enhance the guest experience and to support your own development.

What we are looking for:

-We are seeking a truly unflappable person to organise and guide the team. Previous experience in a supervisory role is essential.

· Passionate about delivering the highest levels of service with a desire to learn, work hard and progress

· Excellent communication, an open personality who is relaxed and natural in their interactions- A strong team player.

· Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by example.

· A background in a professional meeting and events sales office - this is not essential but previous hotel experience would be ideal.

· Flexible approach to work, able to multiple priorities and projects with resilience under pressure. Ability and willingness to adapt to changing requirements.
