Tasks
- Collect, verify, bundle and optimize demand for engineering and AOG recovery services suppliers in alignment with the internal stakeholders
- Execute tender processes (RFQs) in conformance with the relevant SWISS procurement guidelines
- Review quotations issued by the services suppliers in detail, for adequation with requested services
- Review invoices of performed work and booking in IT-systems and resolve discrepancies on demand
- Evaluate the performance of the engineering and AOG recovery services suppliers
- Develop and improve processes, methods and guidelines for procurement of engineering and AOG recovery services
- Ensure right interfaces and joint procedures are used, maintained or amended where required
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the organisation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering with further education in Business Administration or vice versa
- Knowledge of EASA requirements and regulations
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical division in the aviation sector (maintenance organization of an airline or MRO). Furthermore at least 3 years of experience in sourcing part-21, AOG or MRO Services.
- Technical expertise, knowledge and experience with components, materials and systems of the relevant aircraft types
- AMOS experience is an advantage, proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
- Experienced in relationship management
- Experienced in methods and instruments of data management and data analysis
- Profound knowledge of financial effect on the business value chain
