2024 Engineering Graduate Program
Are you ready to kick-start your career with a global leader in the medical device industry? Straumann Group is seeking self-aware, Master's graduates to join our International Graduate Program and help us continue to inspire smiles all over the world!
As a member of our 2024 cohort, you’ll have the opportunity to work on strategic projects, collaborate with key business groups, and solve complex problems using data and analytics. You'll also enjoy two rotations, including one outside of your home location or in another area of our business, where you'll be mentored by a member of our Senior Leadership team to help guide you, build your network, and set you up for success.
The Operations Engineering Program
On the Engineering program, you’ll immerse yourself in our Manufacturing, Operations & Supply Chain function driving efficiencies, providing insight, and improving our methodologies and processes, consistently adding value to our business. You can expect to work on projects such as:
- Participate in Lean improvements on the shopfloor in some of our Straumann Group factories.
- Support the definition of new standards for our CADCAM machines globally.
Your first rotation won’t be defined until after you’re hired so it’s important that you’re comfortable with this. If offered, we’ll review your strengths and development areas and work with the Operations function to design a rotation that stretches and develops you.
After around nine months you’ll move into your second rotation. Our GROW team will work with both you and our business units to find a suitable placement that allows you to continue to develop your skills and bring value to Straumann Group.
Our requirements
To be considered, you should have a Master's degree in Engineering, 6-18 months of work experience in a multinational environment, and a truly global mindset with the agility and flexibility to work across boundaries. Excellent English and French language skills are also essential. German and Spanish/Bask would be a plus.
The process and timelines
Please apply in English. The program commences in November 2024. First-round interviews with our recruitment team take place in late August, with final-round interviews taking place in September.
If you’re successful in our process, you can look forward to an exciting 18-month journey with us, where you’ll gain valuable experience, build your network, and make a real impact on people's lives. Join us on this exciting adventure and help us inspire smiles all over the world!
