Senior Consultant – Corporate Sustainability Services

Your contribution to KPMG

• Manage and deliver different projects within our Sustainability team across a range of sectors, particularly on everything around climate including TCFD, ESRS, GHG accounting, climate-related target setting and decarbonization pathways
• Act as a climate specialist and support our ESG assurance projects during the busy season as a team member or subject-matter expert. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the area of climate and sustainability
• Support our clients in developing and advancing their firm's climate commitments aligned to the latest science, best practices and establishing pragmatic decarbonization roadmaps
• Support clients development of wider sustainability strategies including target setting, establishing methodology, environmental- and governance KPI's and disclosures

This is what makes you successful

• Bachelors or masters degree in environmental sciences, sustainability management, economics or engineering (or similar)
• Around 2 to 4 years of experience in consultancy, focused on sustainability services, strategy or advisory
• Knowledge of impact assessment frameworks, standards and guidances (GHG Protocol, GRI, TCFD, EU CSRD) is desirable
• Experienced in project management, sustainability-related KPI's and the development of science-based targets
• Proficient German and English skills (written and spoken)
• Dynamic, communicative, client-focused and quality-conscious personality
