FP&A Fashion Local Switzerland Market
Location: CHANEL - Geneva
Report to: Head of FP&A Fashion- regional
Contract: Permanent and Full-Time
The Mission:
The position is part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team within the newly created group of Swiss Markets, reporting to the Head of FP&A Fashion.You will be acting as a business partner for the Fashion Division providing financial guidance at a local level, identifying critical business opportunities, drawing meaningful conclusions, and making recommendations.
The role will also include various project assignments.
We are hence seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Partner to join our Fashion division, looking after retail business. You will play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision making for the division.
You will be responsible for the following activities:
Main activities:
Follow-up of the daily sales and monthly reports preparation.
Full ownership of the monthly management reporting process including challenging key stakeholders on financial spend and providing analysis on budget vs actuals for the Fashion Market business as well as supporting the year end audit.
Manage and analyze all expenses in the Fashion P&L (from Cost of Sales, Advertising, Promotion and SMG&A to Boutique Expenses)
Preparation of periodicreforecasts by overseeing and reviewing a qualitative analysis of the expense budgets to identify and assess any risk or opportunity (via YTD-YTG reports and discussions with operational teams)
Collaborate in the preparation of presentations to analyze and summarize the Swiss Fashion business at key moments during the year. This requires working directly with cross-functional teams and assist with managing to?support presentations for eachbudget cycle & Mid Term Plans (MTP).?
Ad-hoc analysis requests from local teams.
Organizeyear-end boutiques inventory counts.
Keep updated the internal control matrix.
Participate in various divisional projects.
Skillsyoupossess
Advanced knowledge of Excel,PowerPoint and Power BI
Ability to comprehend business issues and develop coherent and comprehensive business solutions
At least 4-5 years' working experience in Business Finance or Financial Planning and basicknowledgein accounting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (both French and English). German is a plus.
