Video Replay (VAR) Project Manager

To support the growth of our Video Replay (VAR) product line, we are looking for a

Based in our Fribourg office in Switzerland, your primary responsibility in this position will be to oversee and manage Dartfish projects focused on delivering Video Replay (VAR) products and services to international and national sports federations.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Dartfish management and sports federations to implement VAR in their competitions. You will have the autonomy to pursue and advance your own projects and ideas, with the full support of the Dartfish team.

Your Responsibilities

• Project Management: Lead and manage VAR projects, ensuring timely delivery, scope adherence, and budget compliance.
• Client Engagement: Develop strong relationships with sports federations and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to understand and explain the technical setup proposed by Dartfish for VAR operations.
• Training & Support: Create and deliver comprehensive training programs for clients, ensuring they are equipped to effectively use of our FIFA certified software called Dartfish VAR System.
• Autonomy & Innovation: Take ownership of your own projects and initiatives, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to the team.
• Cultural Adaptability: Effectively manage relationships and projects across different cultures, demonstrating an understanding of local customs and practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in project processes and customer experiences.

About You

• Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing complex projects, ideally in sports technology or related fields.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of video replay systems, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Communication & Training: Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and provide training to diverse audiences.
• Social & Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build relationships and work effectively with clients and stakeholders across various cultures.
• Adaptability: Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and manage projects in dynamic environments.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel internationally and work across different time zones.
• Fluent in French or English with a good command of the other language.
• Holder of a Bachelor’s degree, is preferred but not a must.
