Relationship Manager, Head of Israel at DB Switzerland, responsible for (1) building and running a team of Relationship Managers and Client Service Executives to service the existing desk’s clients, including those covered by the team based in Tel Aviv; and (2) acquiring new clients, building a book and serving the acquired clients from a Wealth Management and also a broader banking point of view. You are part of a highly dynamic team and play an instrumental role in implementing our strategy to grow the business in the Israel Market.
Your Key Responsibilities
Establish a team at DB Switzerland that will be responsible for booking and servicing the bank’s existing Israeli clients, including those covered by Tel Aviv team
Provide leadership and guidance to junior colleagues in day-to-day dealing with existing clients. Source and bring on board relationship managers and client service executives candidates
Develop contacts and build relationships with HNW/UHNW clients, Single/Multi Family Offices and Foundations for our Israel Market
Gather individual information about potential clients and prepare calls and meetings to offer private Banking services & products and assess market potential both for existing and potential clients
Actively offer all products and services contained in Asset & Wealth Management product in line with suitability assessment and regulatory environment and in close collaboration with dedicated Investment Advisors and various product specialists
Participate in Goal Setting process to ensure that financial goals are achievable and manage annual asset, revenue, and expense budget to ensure that financial targets are met
Ensure an excellent and smooth client on-boarding experience with regard to legal requirements and in close collaboration with your Client Service Executives and other internal support functions
Make sure that prospect and client related information are properly filed
Participate in public relations and other marketing activities for existing and new clients by holding presentations and participating in social events
Your Skills & Experience
7 years+ of Financial Services experience in a client maintenance role
MBA or other relevant advanced degree is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of relevant financial and cross-border regulation applicable to Swiss and Israeli markets
Experience in managing bank processes such as client on-boarding, KYC, etc., as well as related risks
Strong knowledge of financial instruments and markets and knowledge of all Private Banking products and services including the credit policies, guidelines and procedures
Excellent knowledge of the Israeli Market and the cultural backgrounds
Fluency in English, Hebrew not required but would be a plus
Able to work with a culturally diverse workforce and client base and highly developed written and oral communication skills
Strong sales and marketing abilities
Excellent problem solving skills
Complete understanding and adherence to regulatory requirements in marketing the Private Bank’s products and services
Ability to demonstrate good time management skills
