In this position in a team of about six highly competent engineers and scientists you will be working on the development of X-Imaging Systems for our Radiation Therapy Linear-Accelerator and be responsible for achieving and maintaining the image quality of our products. In this function, you will work closely with other cross-functional team members within Varian.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain diagnostic X-ray components
• Circuit and PCB design for x-ray sensors
• Implement, test and analyze modifications and improvements of PCBs
• Responsible for achieving and maintaining the image quality of our products
• Characterization and analysis of diagnostic X-ray sensors
• Hardware and software design for production test systems

Desired Qualifications

• Technical Bachelor or Master (Uni/ETH/FH)
• Experience in circuit and PCB design
• Knowledge in flat-panel development is a plus
• Forward thinking, structured way of working with an ability to get things done
• Self-motivated, knowledge-seeking attitude with a strong desire for business impact
• Fluency in German and English language
