Head of External Academy, Zurich Resilience Solutions, 80-100%
As the Head of the ZRS External Academy, you will wear many different hats. You are supporting the Head of Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS) in actively managing, driving and executing strategic initiatives. These strategic initiatives range from developing learning curricula and related content, process optimisation and development of new business models to commercialise the assets (training programmes, conferences etc.) of ZRS. You actively engage with internal and external clients at all corporate levels to strengthen ZRS’s value proposition as a knowledge company.
What you will do
As an experienced project manager, you will be responsible to plan, manage and steer projects applying agile methodology.
Cross-functional collaboration with IT, legal & compliance and finance to define the business model for commercialisation.
Responsible as the product owner for developing our LMS “commercialisation” platform.
Works with the business and customers and partners to analyse strategic customer needs.
Set-up of a pricing methodology.
Steers the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of face-to-face, online, blended and hybrid programmes for clients.
Drives the continued development of key client programmes as course owner.
Marketing and sales of fee-based risk education.
Conceptualizes, develops, hosts and moderates key industry events, workshops (online, onsite).
Key Performance Measures
Commercialisation of programmes, measured by revenue, cost.
Providing value-adding services for clients measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS) of our participants for the courses.
Project management measured by time, cost and quality of delivery.
What you bring
A university degree or equivalent, with >10 years of professional-level experience, ideally within the financial services or risk industry.
Sound knowledge of the financial services or risk industry in general, ideally with track-record in market/client-facing roles.
Experience in business-to-business engagement, marketing execution, corporate learning & development, conferencing, and executive programmes, including digital formats.
Strategic thinking skills – setting the big picture and anticipating trends and consequences creating competitive proposition to generate business value.
Commercial understanding of business models and strategies in executive education, training and/or conferencing, experience in Business Design methodology.
Excellent relationship management skills in cross-functional teams and external relationships with customers and partners.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent planning and project management skills, with a healthy level of attention to detail and > 10 years’ experience to manage complex projects. Experienced in waterfall and agile methodologies. PM certification of advantage.
Strong track record of execution and delivery of large scale, complex projects.
Experience in moderating and facilitating events and/or workshops.
Business intuition, curiosity and a passion for risk related topics with desire to understand goals, financial target, deliverables and challenges in the industry.
Strong drive to create business results, conveying a sense of urgency to overcome obstacles and achieve measurable outcomes.
Data literacy skills.
Product owner of different digital tools, one of the main ones being the LMS-commercialisation platform. As the product owner, you drive the strategic development of the platform/software to further improve their business value.
