British American Tobacco Mexico has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Manager in Monterrey
The Commercial Finance Manager will bring innovation, creativity, and a good attitude to our team. This position is a highly visible, integral part of the Commercial Finance structure. Strong analytical skills are required in this role to bring insights of trade programs and brands and advise business decisions. This role is a key point of contact for trade programs and forecasting and reporting queries. Additionally, business partnering skills are needed to influence business decisions in relevant forums. This role must ensure positive relationships within the finance function and cross-functional networking to develop effective and coordinated insights.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Develop and sustain strong business partnering relationships across Finance, O2C, IDT, and Trade functions.
- Responsible for oversight and management of the control environment including SOX management & performance, documentation, and craft around all controls related to our Trade based programs.
- Holistic support of development, prioritization, and execution with IDT to support strategic RGM initiatives.
- Support cross-functional teams in setting strategy and execution plans for our Trade strategy programs.
- Develop robust analytics and reporting for the organization’s payments.
- Provide internal trade support payment resolution and assistance validation and reconciliation processes. Furthermore, support Business Continuity plans related to our Trade payment programs.
- Provide leadership and coordination to drive continuous department improvement and assist with special projects as needed.
- Must be able to operate effectively under pressure and in an ambiguous environment. Moreover, develop, monitor, and sustain successfully and on-target important metrics performance.
What are we looking for?
- At least +5 years of finance or accounting services experience.
- Solid understanding of finance/analytics and demonstrate commercial foresight.
- Must have proven track record to work in a fast paced, fast-paced environment and a high sense of urgency.
- Must be diligent and have excellent communication skills.
- Understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems (i.e. SAP / BPCe/Sales Force).
- MS Office – Sophisticated level.
- Proficient verbal and written English language skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
