EVENTS MANAGER (50-100%)

General description

The candidate's responsibilities will include organizing and facilitating Goodlife events, prospecting for new events, operating some events (set-up, barista) up to 50%. In the case of more events, the position can go up to 100% where the candidate will be in charge of shift barista and set-up.

Required profile

• The candidate must be: autonomous, a good problem solver, a pro-active person to lead projects and develop events operations, structured, creative

• The candidate must have: coffee skills and experience in coffee, background in events

Specific tasks

Events prospection

• Find new events

• Secure the current Goodlife events

• Strategic events selection

Event marketing and promotion

• Work with support from marketing team to develop event promotion strategies, including social media campaigns, email marketing, and other promotional activities to attract attendees and sponsors.

Event planning

• Maintain a global events program tracker to forecast resource and budget requirements + align activities with Goodlife team

• Collaborate with clients to align event objectives, budget, and specific requirements

• Create and manage event budgets, ensuring that all expenses align with the allocated budget

• Negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing and cost effective

• solutions.

Event operations

• Coordinate all aspects of the event setup, coffee service and breakdown.

• Manage on-site staff and volunteers to ensure a smooth event flow and customer satisfaction.

• Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event and gather feedback from clients, attendees, and stakeholders to identify improvement areas.

• Prepare contingency plans for potential challenges or emergencies during events and respond quickly and efficiently to unexpected situations.

• Coordinate the delivery of goods and equipment onsite on event days. Driving skills are therefore required.

Event assets management

• Ensure the preparation, maintenance and operation of all event assets and equipment, including mobile coffee vehicles, coffee machines, apparatus and consumable

• Manage the budget for event assets and equipment, including proposals to the board for the investment of new event assets and equipment to improve performance results.
