Support us in the production and development of cutting-edge medical technology solutions that enable people around the world to self-manage diabetes and other chronic diseases.
- Responsibility for planning and execution of Human Factors Engineering programs according to current standards and guidelines (i.e., IEC 62366, FDA HFE Guidance, etc.)
- Leading and developing the Human Factors Engineering team to ensure high quality and efficiency in project execution
- Contribute to the development and optimization of industrial and user interface design of our medical devices
- Planning, coordination and monitoring of formative and summative HF studies (with internal and external researchers)
- Analysis, interpretation and documentation of findings from HF studies including recommendations for product development
- Creation and maintenance of usability engineering files for product approvals in collaboration with the project or product teams
- Consulting of product and project managers regarding regulatory requirements for Human Factors / Usability Engineering
- Attendance of congresses and monitoring of trends in the field of Human Factors and User Experience Research & Design
- Proven experience leading Human Factors Engineering teams, with a customer-oriented approach and a business-driven mindset
- Bachelor/Master (FH/University) with a focus on Ergonomics/Usability/Human Factors or related fields
- Experience in the application of usability/human factors engineering for medical devices and/or combination products (IEC 62366 as well as FDA HFE Guidance)
- Experience in international submissions in the field of medical devices and/or combination products (EU MDR, FDA, Health Canada, etc.)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-culturally in diverse and international environments
- Experience with digital health technologies is a plus
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage
