Role Description
- This is a temporary on-site role as a Chemist I based in Visp (Switzerland).
- Starting date: 01/07/2024 to 31/12/2024 (with extension possibility)
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the timely, quality, and cost-effective production of assigned products in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning safety, quality, regulatory, hygiene, and environmental standards: Ensure that the production of assigned products is on schedule, meets quality standards, and is cost-efficient while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
- Proper preparation and execution or review of risk analysis and process robustness analysis in assigned projects, as well as the implementation of resulting measures: Accurately prepare, conduct, or review risk analyses and process robustness analyses in assigned projects and implement the resulting actions.
- Creation of cost calculations, cost control during the campaign, and post-calculation to adjust standard prices: Develop cost estimates, monitor costs during the campaign, and perform post-campaign calculations to adjust standard prices.
- Participation in other assigned projects, such as investments, optimization of processes, activities, and systems, or cross-plant risk analyses: Contribute to additional assigned projects, including investments, process optimizations, activities, system improvements, or cross-plant risk assessments.
- Monitoring the development of regulatory requirements (GMP) for plants and processes and assisting in their implementation in FCC / HAPI: Track the development of regulatory requirements (GMP) for equipment and processes and aid in their implementation in FCC / HAPI.
Requirements:
- You have a degree from a university of applied sciences in the field of chemical or process engineering
- Expertise in chemistry and process engineering, as well as basic knowledge of business administration
- Several years of professional experience in production
- As a team player, you are accustomed to working independently and flexibly
- You are communicative, fluent in German, and proficient in English
