Your new tasks

As a Senior Digital Ink Formulation Specialist, you will play a key role in the development and optimization of strategic projects:

• Formulate UV inks for inkjet and other proprietary AM technologies
• Design, perform and analyze printing experiments
• Evaluate raw materials and optimize formulations
• Develop and implement characterization methods
• Prepare work plans and status reports
• Collaborate with other technology groups (e.g. physicists)
• Share findings with relevant stakeholders (e.g. process engineers)
• Manage laboratory infrastructure, material suppliers and equipment

What you bring

• Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related fields
• At least 5 years of experience in R&D of digital ink formulations
• Proficient in UV polymerization chemistry
• Demonstrated strong knowledge in UV curing processes and formulations
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of inkjet printing processes
• Solid technical background with hands-on, lab work experience
• Be able to interpret data and draw effective conclusions
• Demonstrate strong Math and Science skills
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary environment with various interfaces inside and outside the company
• Ideally history of developing products until commercialization
• Ideally familiar with the optics or ophthalmic industry
• Fluent in spoken and written English
