Working Student UX Design (f/m/x)
The ZEISS Digital Partners are helping diverse business units to develop, launch and improve cutting-edge and customer-centric digital solutions. The Design & Insights team is working in interdisciplinary set-ups together with business, tech and domain experts on projects that range from workshops and sprints to full blown design thinking or agile development projects.
For our location in Munich, we are seeking a: UX Design Working Student (20h/week, at least 6months).
You will support project teams by visualizing early ideas, future experiences or even high level screen design
You will also help ZEISS teams to test hypotheses and ideas with potential customers / users early and continuously – building future offers that really matter to them
Learn around Design Thinking, Service Design, User Research, Agile Development from experienced team members, in a great, diverse and international team
Get firsthand experiences in the strategic development of the future customer experience of ZEISS’s products & services Learn about ZEISS’ various fields and industries (e.g. medical technology, eye care, industrial metrology and more…)
Ultimately contribute to the success of ZEISS Digital Partners and ZEISS Business Units
An interaction / UX design student (for 6 more months or more)
Great at visualizing experiences quickly and bringing to live early ideas, in compelling ways, that help potential customers / users to imagine the future
Creative and enjoy ideation sessions
A versatile designer, eager to learn from wireframing to high level scenario sketching / customer journey illustration
Open to discover new and complex topics, e.g. in the medical or metrology context, no matter if it’s B2B or B2C
Interested in new technology and how it can improve human experiences
Interested about design thinking, user research and agile development
Empathic and a great team player
Good at self-organizing, time and task management and happy to help with organizational tasks as well
Fluent in English and ideally also German
Experienced in standard design and collaboration tools like miro and figma
