We are currently recruiting for one of our clients in Switzerland for a Web Application Architect for the Bern or Zurich area.

As a successful applicant for the job as a Web Application Architect, you will be part of a company that provides Digital Ecommerce Solutions, supporting you along the way to develop your career with educational trainings and other benefits for you to find the right level of work-life balance.

You will be responsible to develop E-commerce solutions based on PHP, you be client facing with customers from a variety of sectors to understand their needs and develop new concepts and technical solutions. You will work closely with the senior developer to constantly look for ways to improve both from a technical (mainly PHP and related technologies) and process perspective.

For the job as a Web Application Architect you should have:

• Strong background in development and design of Web Applications (Zend (PHP) and/or Symphony)
• Excellent knowledge in technologies like CSS, HTML, Javascript and MySQL
• Good knowledge in web application architecture
• Akeneo and/or Magento knowledge is highly advantageous
• Meticulous personality, dynamic and out-of-the-box thinker
• German C1/C2 or Native.

Sie sind verantwortlich für die Entwicklung von E-Commerce-Lösungen auf Basis von PHP, Sie haben Kontakt mit Kunden aus den verschiedensten Branchen, um deren Bedürfnisse zu verstehen und neue Konzepte und technische Lösungen zu entwickeln. Sie werden eng mit dem Senior Developer zusammenarbeiten, um ständig nach Verbesserungspotenzial sowohl aus technischer (hauptsächlich PHP und verwandte Technologien) als auch aus Prozessperspektive zu suchen.

Für den Job als Web Application Architect haben Sie:

• Fundiertes Know-How in der Entwicklung und im Design von Webanwendungen (Zend (PHP) und/oder Symphony)
• Hervorragende Kenntnisse in Technologien wie CSS, HTML, Javascript und MySQL
• Gute Kenntnisse in der Architektur von Webanwendungen
• Akeneo- und/oder Magento-Kenntnisse sind von großem Vorteil
• Sie arbeiten sorgfältig, sind dynamisch und denken out-of-the-box
• Sie sprechen Deutsch auf dem Level C1/C2 oder als Muttersprache
