What you'll need to have

You have a relevant education in visual merchandising/decoration/design or experience from a similar position. You possess a natural creative mindset combined with commercial understanding, which you know how to translate into inspiring solutions for our customers.
We also value that you:
• Have a practical and hands-on approach to your tasks – you are not afraid to get your hands dirty and do craftsmanship work
• Can independently drive and execute projects from planning to implementation and involve others across functions
• Preferably have knowledge of IT programs such as Microsoft Office and Revit, and can easily navigate new programs
• Thrive in a dynamic and sometimes busy everyday life where quick decisions need to be made, and priorities continuously change
• Communicate fluently in English. Be aware that we use both English and Danish as every day languagues, so it is an advantage to understand Danish as well, but not a requirement.
What you'll be doing day to day
While the Interior Designers handles the room settings and 'small appartments' which are primarily located on the top floor of the store, the Visual Merchandisers and Visual&Activity Co-workers ensures that all other displays, such as walls, ad hoc and seasonal displays etc are inviting and inspiring to the customers. Your daily life will be characterized by a high pace, creativity, and optimization of commercial areas.
Your tasks will include:
• Contributing to positioning IKEA as the first choice in home furnishing in your local market
• Using IKEA's extensive range of home furnishings to showcase unique styles that appeal broadly to our customers' needs and tastes
• Demonstrating and strengthening the uniqueness of IKEA's product range to differentiate us from our competitors
• Ensuring that the store's layout is used as a commercial tool to plan and implement sales strategies throughout the store.

You will become part of a strong team in our Communication & Interior Design function, consisting of graphic designers, interior designers, visual merchandisers, craftsmen, apprentices, and leaders. • You will primarily work within the hours of 07:00AM - 15:00PM / 08:00AM - 16:00PM Monday to Friday. Evening and weekend work may occur, but seldom
