We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Visiting Lecturer to join our Faculty and to teach French as a foreign language. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic mission of Les Roches Crans-Montana by delivering high-quality classes to students pursuing their bachelor's degree.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in French, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Qualification as French teacher for higher education.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in teaching French to international students, preferably at university level.
- Fluent in English.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Tourism and Hospitality industry preferred.
- Knowledge of the latest teaching methodologies and technologies in language education.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and online platforms.
- Availability throughout the semester, starting as of September 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and effective French classes, by following the lesson plans.
- Assess and monitor student progress, provide timely and constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance overall educational experience.
- Develop knowledge and skills and participate in professional development opportunities.
