Sales Director, Vision Care Korea, is a commercial leadership role within the Vision Care Korea Leadership Team (KLT) and organization and plays a key role in driving sales growth through successful sales strategy planning and execution. This leadership role is responsible for leading sales organization of Vision Care Korea, strengthening key customer relationships, and achieving sustainable growth, and maximizing customer satisfaction by providing customized solutions through data analysis and market insights.
[Responsibilities]
- Develops strategies in line with the Company objectives and directs activities of the sales force and sales administration to maximize potential sales volume and market share in all channels in which the Vision Care Korea participates.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with key customers, applying a broad knowledge of the organization's products, services and sales techniques.
- Directs, coordinates and provides leadership to assigned staff, ensuring established policies and objectives are understood and appropriate levels of service are achieved.
- Develops sales managers, customer development managers (CDM) and organization.
- Directs the continuing appraisal of pricing, distribution and other policies and procedures of the organization.
- Recommends changes that would improve the effectiveness of achieving sales objectives.
- Adapts global and regional strategy and customizes and transplant to Korea market.
- Analyzes and approves overall expense budgets for sales personnel.
- Establishes and maintains top level contact with customers.
- Performs other related duties as a Commercial Leadership Team and VC Korea Leadership Team member.
[Requirements]
- Bachelor’s degrees or above, ideally majored in business related field
- Minimum 15 years of experience in sales management, especially in FMCG
- Good inter-personal relationship, strong in stakeholder management and cross-function teamwork
- Business acumen to deliver customers’ needs, compliantly
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of sales applications and principles
- Results and performance driven to focus on driving customer value
- Experience working with budgets and sales forecasts
- Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
- Strong communications skill & negotiation skills
- People management skill
- Proactive, positive, open-minded, curios and innovative mind-set
- Excellent command of English to work with region and global
