Our client is a very dynamic raw material company. On his behalf we are looking for a dynamic and talented professional talent as a Traffic team member.
Your Challenge
setting up purchase/sales contracts
you handle contractual transactions including all documentation with regards to the full cycle of each transaction
you issue and verify Letter of Credits
Liaison with forwarders and shipping agents for freight/chartering of vessels, barges, trucks and railcars
Issuing instructions to surveyors for material’s inspection
Nomination of vessels to suppliers, terminals and receivers and acceptance of vessels
Sending of documentary instructions to suppliers, ship agents, inspection or insurance companies
Handling of commercial claims jointly with responsible traders
Stock declarations under insurance policies and for banking purpose
Marine and credit insurance administration (declarations, premium controlling, invoicing), handling of insurance claims
Handling of import and export letter of credit related matters
Your Qualifications
Commercial apprenticeship or Bachelor / Master
Several years of Traffic experience
Strong knowledge of letters of credits and other standard payment instruments
Strong English skills / German and other languages would be an asset
Strong IT skills
You are a highly committed and flexible person who can work under pressure
You have exceptional organizational skills and you can prioritize matters
you are self-conscious, reliable and a strong teamplayer
you are a teamplayer, flexible, dynamic and you have strong social skills
