The HR Support Services provides operational and transactional HR services and support for employees based in Switzerland in their everyday HR matters.You will be working in Lugano as a part of the local HR team, mainly providing administrative support for various topics and processes along the employee lifecycle.
- Ensuring the administrative onboarding of new joiners by issuing employment contracts, obtaining required data including background screening records and assist new joiners with their HR-related queries
- Maintaining and monitoring complete and correct employee data, payment related information and personnel files
- Dealing with inquiries and providing information and straightforward advice on everyday HR matters, such as benefits and employment conditions, absence, working time, personal and contractual data changes, to employees and line managers, including data entries and issuing required correspondence
- Managing the offboarding of employees by providing required documents and information to employees and line managers, including work certificates
- Partnering with HR Consultants and Talent Acquisition Specialists in managing HR processes and liaising with interfacing teams within Human Resources such as Payroll, Julius Baer Academy and the Pension Fund Team
- Advise and support line managers and employees in managing all HR core processes such as Performance & Talent Management, Compensation Reviews and Year-End activities in collaboration with HR Business Partners
- Commercial apprenticeship or similar
- Further HR specific education such as "HR Specialist"
- At least 3-4 years of experience in a comparable position
- Empathic, communicative and client-oriented personality
- Natural team player
- Ability to react and to adapt to a constantly changing and demanding environment
- Enjoyment in dealing with line managers and employees of different personalities
- Well organized and able to set priorities
- Ability to build an internal network based on credibility and trust
- High degree of integrity and discretion
- Knowledge of Swiss employment law
- Proficient user of Microsoft office tools and Workday
- Fluent in verbal and written communication in Italian, German and English
