Job Summary
Supply Network Planning is an integral supply chain planning activity providing end to end support for network planning and inventory optimization in Johnson and Johnson's distribution network. The role provides analytical and technical support, problem solves system issues, identifies areas of inventory efficiency and co-ordinates the execution of various supply chain activities ensuring critical launch dates are met, and supply optimally supports demand throughout the distribution network.
SNP Duties & Responsibilities
- Conversion of VSL strategy to execution messages in planning system (APO/OMP) by Supply point Capacity and site strategy alignment for medium to long term planning.
- Projecting and driving inventory burn off activities with project strategy and market registration timelines in mind.
- Constant monitoring of the plan's alignment to the overall project strategy.
- Liaise with Variant team on markets' registration and communicate findings to leadership.
- Responsible for reporting out communication on cut over progress and any risks to project team and leadership.
- Aligning forecast with licensing at country level for new variants, loading future variants per anticipated licensing per country.
- Routinely updating material determination tables as timelines change at the appropriate level.
- Ensuring regulatory approvals database and supply preference rules are aligned with forecast and supply chain strategy.
- Collaborating closely with Demand Team to ensure APS LDT is aligned to MDT at product code level.
- Responsible for ensuring SNP Interchangeability Table aligns to project strategies.
- Update SNP product substitution report (hub ICT tables) in line with new variants
- Coordinate inventory allocation and utilization throughout network during times of constraint with STEM, ISG, Demand Management, PP&L, and GPM.
- Ensure SAP APO Parameters and indicators are optimally set/ handled, through collaboration with project team members.
- Maintain accurate master, regulatory and transactional data in relative systems.
- Identify root-cause and work with supply chain partners to resolve supply issues. Communicate these supply issues/ plans through S&OP Process and to SNP Group, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and In-Market Supply Partners as appropriate.
- Engage in the constraint’s management & global allocations process according to procedure.
- Proactively identify and inform business partners on risk, opportunities, and priorities to aid tactical and strategic decision making.
- Participate in metrics reviews with multi-functional teams and attend/participate in other calls / meetings.
- Collaborate with IT to address issues/ errors.
- Implement Multi-Variant switches on the RAD in conjunction with inventory optimization.
- Actively participate in the Global Control Tower platforms, including but not limited to root causing, corrective actions, A3 problem solving for your given site/sites.
- Engagement in Inventory Entitlement changes in Primary/Secondary hubs.
- Engagement with all business partners for progression of supply feedback loop tool, to enhance our regional partners and end customer experience.
