For our location in Steinhausen ZG we are looking for a skilled addition to our team as

Strategic Commodity Manager f/m/d 100%

Your area of responsibility

Commodity Management for electronic related material groups on a global base (PCBA, PSU, Electronic Components, etc.)
Negotiate prices based on open book calculation, lead-time, and total cost (focusing on projects)
Tight coordination with the different R&D departments within Besi and the local and global Material Management
Prepare analysis and statistics to control and support the sourcing strategy and the strategic planning
Negotiate contracts with non-product and product related suppliers (PR & NPR)

Our requirements

Electronics and/or commercial education with fundamental technical know-how
At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar area
Profound knowledge in quoting of PCBA and Electronic Components and in PCBA manufacturing processes (Key components, PCB technology, production process, testing methods, quality inspection etc.)
Knowledge and understanding in global strategic sourcing (Asia / China)
Experience in supplier qualification, auditing, and corrective action processes
Proficient in getting supply market data and also in contracting
Very good knowledge of German and English is a must-have in this role
Readiness to travel (appr. 20%)
