We're looking for an experienced sourdough baker to join our small bakery team. Our bakery's mission is to provide the local community with healthy, wholesome bread made from organic grains. By joining us, you'll help showcase the high quality of our regional produce while supporting our larger mission of energizing our guests through nutritious, pure mountain cuisine.

- A deep passion for baking, especially sourdough, with an understanding of its complexities.
- Strong organizational skills, with a meticulous approach to quality control.
- A positive attitude, along with a desire to constantly learn and improve your craft.
- Flexibility and creativity in problem-solving and willingness to experiment with new techniques or ingredients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hand shaping and managing artisanal sourdough, crafted from organic and locally sourced ingredients.
- Contribute creatively to the bakery's offerings, aligning them with our focus on health and sustainability.
- Oversee the entire sourdough process: mixing, folding, scaling, proving, and baking.
- Manage the temperature and timing of doughs and leavens to ensure consistent, high-quality results.
- Maintain a high standard of quality control, ensuring that only the best bread leaves the bakery.
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, including HACCP logging and proper food labeling.
- Assist in general bakery maintenance and cleanliness after each session.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to integrate bakery products into the wider guest experience.
- Occasionally assist customers in the bakery, providing excellent service and advice when needed.
