IT Solution Architect (80-100%, all genders)

As Solution Architect, your role involves designing and guiding the NDC solution architecture for multiple projects within the NDC area. This includes creating detailed solution specifications and collaborating with Lufthansa Group Domain Architects to drive the development of the NDC Channels.
- Technology Innovation: Be the voice of NDC, exploring and driving technology innovation, shaping solution designs and setting new standards for modern airline retailing.
- Target Architecture: Advise the Distribution organization on IT architecture to support their vision, developing a target architecture that delivers the necessary business capabilities
- Projects & Support: Provide architectural consulting for projects aligned with overall strategy
- Solution Design: Design NDC product solutions in collaboration with Enterprise Architects. Document architectural decisions and manage technical debt
- Solution Documentation: Develop and update Security & Solution Architecture Documentation (SSAD)
- Knowledge Management: Manage and maintain architectural knowledge for the NDC product
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Solid expertise in Solution Architecture, including a deep understanding of processes, technologies and tools.
- Proficient in system integration, including API design, micro-services architecture, and data exchange protocols.
- Skilled in deriving and evaluating architectural alternatives from requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with effective communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach and ability to manage priorities.
- Responsible, focused, and committed to delivering results.
- Experience in the Airline or Travel IT industry is a plus.
- Fluent in English, German would be an asset.
