Your role in a nutshell:
- Feature Development and Quality: You contribute to feature implementation with a focus on clean code, sustainable architecture, and thorough test coverage.
- Collaborative Traffic Acquisition: You work closely with other cross-functional teams to enhance traffic acquisition through strategies such as SEO and email marketing.
- Agile and Autonomous Teamwork: Together, we refine our agile processes to deliver high-value, iterative work packages, while enjoying significant autonomy to shape our domains and drive innovation.

Software Engineer (f/m/d)
Your responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and APIs.
- Work with developers and product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and conduct code reviews.
- Optimize backend systems for speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire application stack and monitor system performance, health, and security.
- Thrive in an open feedback, blameless environment and contribute to our pair programming culture.
Your skills
- Higher education degree in computer science (ETH/UNI/FH) or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in a backend programming language (ideally with over 2 years of C# experience) and experience with RESTful API design
- Nice to have: Experience with database management systems (MongoDB) and familiarity with GraphQL.
- Ideally also some familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), understanding of micro services architecture and experience with message queuing systems (Kafka).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Prioritizing empathy and compassion in decision-making.
- Maintaining resilience and agility while adjusting strategies as needed.
- English proficiency is a must.
