The Design and Disruptive Technologies team is looking for an engineer to work on innovative algorithms to transform ground breaking ideas into revolutionary features for our current and next generation of Reality Capture BLK devices like the BLK2GO, the BLK2FLY or the BLK ARC. - Developing and improving SLAM algorithms for Leica's innovative BLK product line
- Developing cutting-edge technology
- Sensor fusion (LiDAR, Vision, IMU, GNSS)
- Efficient processing with low-latency output
- Facing mathematical and algorithmic challenges
- Interacting with stake holders from different BLK
products - Ability to apply state-of-the-art technologies
- Working in a fully cross-functional and international team
- Modern working environment and conditions
- A relevant university qualification (Master / Ph.D.) in engineering or computer science with a focus on computer vision, mobile robotics, or photogrammetry
- Theoretical understanding and practical experience with SLAM or point cloud processing
- Familiar with software development using modern C++
- Aim for high-quality and reliable code
- Analytical mindset
- Affinity to algorithms
- Out-of-the-box thinker with a strong sense for team spirit
- Fluency in English
