Senior QA Specialist
Are you an analytical and accurate quality assurance professional with a practical attitude and broad expertise? We’re seeking a talented individual to join our team!
About Us
Our client is a growing, innovative company specializing in water-soluble complementary feed. Our powerful plant-based products and specialist expertise enable farmers to optimize production while minimizing antibiotic use across various sectors (poultry, pigs, cattle, shrimp). Located near Zwolle, we operate a modern GMP+ certified production facility.
The Role
As Quality specialist you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes. You’ll be responsible for implementing and enforcing quality standards and procedures to comply with regulations and meet customer expectations. This position also involves managing export documentation and contributing to development projects and product testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire quality system
- Manage and maintain our digital quality system
- Manage accreditations and certificates
- Handle export documentation queries
- Maintain raw material/end product files and ensure traceability
- Conduct quality checks and sample archiving
- Perform risk assessments, analyses, and monitoring
- Prepare for and manage internal and external audits
- Manage packaging labels for finished products
- Lead the HACCP team
- Contribute to organizational quality awarenes
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in GMP
- Knowledge of the animal feed sector preferred (food ingredients or pharma background with interest in feed also acceptable)
- Excellent command of English (verbal and written)
- Proficiency with digital document systems
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with GMP+ certification a plus
