Senior Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d)
- Drive sales growth of our client's service portfolio.
- Lead Generation by attending conferences, targeting key customers, and expanding contact base within accounts.
- Profiling and qualification of customers
- Deliver presentations, lead discussions, and manage follow up with customers.
- Handle the financial discussions with the customer
- Negotiating service and business agreements with prospects and clients. Support other KAM/Sales Managers and PAs with questions related to agreements
- Lead marketing activities, such as developing marketing material or representing our client at international scientific conferences
- Drive market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify potential growth areas
- Expand account revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and contract renewals while achieving set sales targets
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within key accounts to drive revenue growth.
- Seek and grow new business opportunities within their existing key clients
- Support account managers and representatives to ensure client satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients at the executive level
- Support strategic planning and developing account growth strategies
- Mentoring newly recruited or less experienced KAM/Sales Managers in sales process
- Building strategies for Key Accounts together with responsible KAM/Sales Managers, creating goals that comply with corporate objectives
- Following up on Key Account strategy execution
- MSc or PhD within Life Science, Biochemistry, Molecular or Cell Biology, Biophysics, Pharmacology, Bioinformatics or related and relevant field
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development role in the life science industry
- Strong track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively
- Demonstrated ability to understand client needs and present tailored solutions effectively.
- An in-depth understanding of the industry, market trends, and competitors
- Strong understanding of customer needs, anticipating their requirements, and being able to provide customized solutions
- Exceptional sales skills, including the ability to negotiate complex contracts and handle objections effectively.
- Fluent German and English language skills
