Responsibilities

Lead accountant, overseeing key operational activities that span across various geographies and cover all processes from Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report etc.
Implementing new processes and tools, providing guidance to business stakeholders on various financial topics
Ensuring that the company’s financial reports are accurate and comply with local and group regulations
Analyzing financial data and preparing accurate financial statements
Financial Planning and budgeting
Financial Reporting etc.

Requirements

Degree in Business Administration or Accounting or equivalent
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (Swiss GAAP and IFRS) is very important
Prior experience in Lead Accounting in a HQ of an international company
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate financial statements
Experience with financial planning and budgeting
Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate financial information to management and other stakeholders
Knowledge of Swiss tax laws and regulations
Ability to drive process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting
Fluent in English
At least an intermediate level in German
Prior experience with SAP is advantageous
Passion for learning and thriving in a dynamic, multicultural environment
