To complete the Finance team, we are looking for a Senior Accountant/Finance Expert who sees this chance as exciting opportunity working in Finance in a multinational company.

What you will do

As a Senior Accountant / Finance expert in our team your main responsibilities will involve:

• Lead and contribute to the Finance Accounting & Reporting (FAR) deliverables related to IFRS 17 & Swiss Local Statutory activities, including the understanding of inputs received from partners as well as related financial closing tasks.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that accounting, finance-related activities, processes, procedures are followed and completed in line with Group.

• Ensure the local implementation of new accounting guidelines based on updated Chart of Accounts and according to Group Accounting Standards.

• Perform Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) in line with Group internal guidelines.

• Perform reconciliation and in-depth analysis of the Balance Sheet (B/S) as per defined accounts.

• Oversight of the Inter-Company duties and contribute to the process by analysing data of defined Trading Partners, analyse differences, track actions to keep I/C differences on a minimum level and provide high quality comments.

• Support the Team to increase quality of data analysis and efficiency enhancement through new data management tools.

• Contribute to the performance of business analysis activities to bring added value to the overall unit.

• Contribute of the Implementation of new automated financial processes data by utilizing of suitable technologies.

• Collaborate with projects or internal initiatives by providing know how and expertise covering data topics as a subject matter expert.

What you bring

As an Accountant / Finance Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferable in financial subjects. Qualified accountant/analyst

• 5 or more years of experience in a practical financial accounting/Finance specialist position, preferably in the insurance industry, or alternatively in banking or external audit

• Willingness to work flexibly and tackle new challenges in a fast-changing environment

• Very precise and thorough working style

• Proactive mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong analytical skills

• Experience in SAP, Database Management and visualization tools (SQL/Access/Power BI as part of MS Fabric)

• Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Excel

• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required
