IT Security Engineer (m/w)
Your profile:
Responsibility for a systematic and structured ICT risk management system in accordance with legal, regulatory, and hospital-defined requirements
Defining roles and responsibilities for information security
Identifying and assessing information risks, as well as collaborating on or leading efforts to mitigate them if they are not addressed by the hospital
Establishing a Security Operations Center (SOC) with a partner for the hospital
Leading network partners in the area of information security
Conducting audits, reviews, and tests to identify vulnerabilities and document the hospital's risk profile
Demonstrating best practices in the hospital environment for processes and procedures, balancing patient safety and information security (e.g., regarding privileged accounts or impersonal system users)
Advising on and proposing solutions in projects to reduce risk
Your tasks:
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in IT protection, IT security, and IT risk management
Advanced certification as an IT specialist with additional training in IT security or a university-level education
At least 5 years of experience in IT, with experience in IT security being an advantage
Good general knowledge in technology management, ideally also in regulated IT (medical informatics)
Good knowledge and/or experience in IT service design, IT architecture, IT service engineering, and network engineering
Experience in project management
Strong skills in cross-disciplinary and cross-functional communication, both at the management level with medical staff and with ICT technicians and project managers
High social competence and the ability to collaborate in a role with many interfaces and various professional and stakeholder groups
