Santanderstart - Internship in Compliance Regulatory
Our company is an international private banking firm part of Grupo Santander, located in Geneva with an office in Zurich, with around 300 employees in Switzerland.
The role will be part of the Regulatory Compliance Unit in our Geneva offices in order to help the Bank to
meet and supervise its regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The intern will provide support on a wide range of regulatory compliance matters and tasks pertaining to the Compliance Regulatory Department, namely helping with the onboarding, review and documentation update of Intermediaries and support with the implementation of tasks related to new or updated internal policies and procedures.
Desired Qualifications
- Studies in a field with exposure to Law, Compliance, Business, or similar field
- Familiarity with Swiss banking regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. French and/or Spanish would also be useful for part of the internal communication.
- Assist in other processes related to the onboarding or regulatory duties
- Proficient in using MS Office package.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to work independently and under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive and structured approach to problem solving, compliance with internal / external regulation.
