Position Overview
The Revenue Cycle Systems Associate ensures timely and accurate support of the revenue cycle electronic systems used by the revenue cycle department including, but not limited to, Epic, Clearinghouse, Real Time Eligibility, and external vendors.
This position is remote.
Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support and collaborate to maintain staff portal access requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Determine initial or ongoing patient guarantor account merge issues and correct accounts within Epic independently; including, but not limited to, updates to patient demographics, financial information, and guarantor information.
- Monitor error reports and resolve issues that relate to billing file maintenance; including, but not limited to, payor interface errors, system related error messages, and manual pricing releases.
- Report and suggest file maintenance changes to revenue cycle leadership and revenue cycle staff, as needed.
- Remain current with relevant guidelines and policies for regulatory and provider medical billing.
- Provide extra resources within the department, as needed.
- Conduct all assigned job duties in a timely and productive manner.
- Perform all job duties according to department policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all Company procedures and guidelines; including, but not limited to, the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
- Apply good written and verbal English communication skills; ability to professionally communicate with all customers and vendor partners.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities at one time; ability to handle the pressure of deadlines.

- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
- Ability to work on a computer and phone simultaneously.
- You will be required to successfully complete an assessment showing understanding of Exact Sciences Epic processes necessary to the job functions with a score of 80% or higher. Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Proficient computer skills to include Internet navigation, email usage, and word processing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some college coursework.
- 1+ years of experience in electronic medical record (EMR)/revenue cycle systems.
Salary Range:
$35,000.00 - $56,000.00The annual base salary shown is a national range for this position on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location.
