Regional Account Manager Rare Diseases, Sweden - Alexion (AstraZeneca?)

What you will do
As a Regional Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining valuable business relationships with key specialists and decision-makers in priority accounts and customers. This role is an exciting opportunity to launch our new products and make a real impact in the field of rare diseases.
You will use your expertise to provide scientific information, develop insights-based account plans, and set clear national strategic objectives. Your leadership will be essential in driving the development and implementation of customer-focused and patient-centered tactics. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with Alexion Market Access experts to support local hospital funding processes, ensuring seamless support for the community. Moreover, you will represent your territories in regular reviews and account plan discussions, ensuring that your region's needs and priorities are effectively communicated and addressed.
What we need from you
To fulfil those core responsibilities and bring our strong pipeline to patients, we are preferentially seeking someone with a B.A. or B.S. degree in a scientific or related field, or qualification as a nurse or other degree-level ancillary medical staff, with equivalent experience (e.g. Physiotherapy or Clinical Research Scientist).
Ideally, you should bring five years of sales experience, preferably in the niche/orphan drug area in Neurology, along with a track record of interactions with relevant Key Opinion Leaders. While experience in additional therapeutic areas, such as hematology/andnephrology / Meta+ /NF1, is consideredadvantageous, we also value other relevant work experience from a commercial field within the pharmaceutical industry.
Wearelooking for an individualwho is highlyself-motivated, withproactive, yetorganized, and collaborative approach to problem-solving. It'simportant to note thatthisrole is field-based, with a strong focus on customers (80%) and strategic work (20%). It is strongly preferred that you are based in the greater Stockholm/Gothenburg/Malmö area.
