What does your new challenge look like?
- You are responsible for the operational implementation of the purchase of materials and services according to needs, deadlines, and costs.
- You check the accuracy and completeness of purchase requisitions for defined products, and initiate orders.
- You regularly monitor deliveries in line with initial requests.
- You maintain close relations with our (international) suppliers, as well as monitor and evaluate them.
- You initiate discussions with suppliers to settle disputes (invoices, quality, logistics) and suggest improvement measures.
- You request and analyze offers, and actively negotiate commercial terms.
- You observe and analyze procurement markets and identify new suppliers, opportunities, and risks.
- You develop and implement cost reduction initiatives.
Your profile
- You have an education in the field of purchasing or similar experience in an industrial environment.
- Ideally, you have a technical industrial background (mechanical engineering would be a real asset).
- You have excellent written and spoken skills in French and English, German would be a plus.
- You have a good command of office tools and IT in general.
- You can work as part of a team, and in collaboration with engineers.
- You have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- You are autonomous, rigorous, and organized, with good negotiation skills.
