Project Manager Medical Affairs (ID1388)
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide medical and scientific support in all phases of clinical research projects conducted and supported by AO ITC Clinical Evidence as needed and as specified in the Quality Management System (QMS) of AO ITC Clinical Evidence
  • Act as project owner and project lead for clinical research projects in the idea phase according to the QMS
  • Development and/or review of medical scientific documents (such as OnePager, CIP/RP, SAP, FSR, manuscripts, conference abstracts, and posters/presentations)
  • Evaluate and interpret clinical data in collaboration with the medical subject matter experts (PCIs), medical biostatisticians, and medical writers
  • Adverse Event Review as specifically defined in the CIP/RP for each clinical research project 
  • Assist with radiological measurements and interpretations as necessary
  • Lectures for clinical research education inhouse or for external stakeholders
  • Representation of AO ITC Clinical Evidence in expert groups/working groups of the AO ITC Technical Commission or research commissions of the AO Clinical Divisions
Job Requirements


Background and skills:

  • MD, DMD or DMV
  • Experience in clinical studies, medical services, medical writing and teaching on an international, multicultural level (at least 2-3 years)
  • Experience in clinical practice (i.e. traumatology, orthopedics, neurology, internal medicine, rehabilitation medicine)
  • Professional experience in medical device industry considered as an added value
  • Basic knowledge of biomedical statistics
  • Experience in scientific writing
  • Willingness to travel
  • Attention to detail and reliability
  • Flexibility and customer-focused mindset
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English
