The AO's Community Development department is seeking a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team focused on the management of host clinics for our AO Fellowship programs. With your project manager expertise and proactive, structured approach, you will play a vital role in providing a memorable and impactful experience for young surgeons participating in our fellowship programs.
In this role you will be required to manage all aspects of the Fellowship Host Center process for all divisions:
- Oversee the application and approval process for Host Centers across all divisions.
- Review and process Host Center applications.
- Monitor approval activities and ensure compliance with established criteria in collaboration with the regional project managers, for certification and re-certification process of the Host Centers.
- Serve as the primary contact for inquiries regarding the Host Center application and approval process.
- Collaborate closely with the Program Owner to ensure smooth operation.
Manage all aspects of the short-term international fellowship program with focus on AO Spine:
- Responsible for coordinating the operational alignment of the Spine Fellowship program.
- Daily management of fellowship, including serving as the primary point of contact for fellows throughout their fellowship experience, providing guidance and support.
- Monitoring all activities of the fellowship and initiating stipend payments in time.
- Monitoring the budget for the fellowship program.
- Application process for the fellowship program, including review of applications for completeness.
- Facilitating the placement process and monitoring the budget.
- Manage and update the internal Fellowship Wiki and using Fellowship management system and Salesforce as business tools.
- BSc or Higher Education "Fachausweis" in relevant field (Information Technology, Management or Business).
- Proven record of professional experience in project coordination, customer support or event execution (2-3 years)
- Clear and professional communication with fellows, host institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent project coordination skills with accurate and reliable, proactive, structured and detail-oriented way of working.
- Strong service and people orientation.
- Effective collaboration within the team, mutual support, and open communication to optimize processes and ensure program success.
- Excellent in English written and spoken (Spanish is a plus).
- This role is based in Davos with possibility of hybrid working environment (2 days/week in office required)
