Production Cost Controller
For our client, an international biopharmaceutical company, active in the fields of reproductive health, urology, gastroenterology, endocrinology and orthopedics, we are looking for aProduction Cost Controller.You will temporarily fill the role of Production Cost Controller during a period of backfill. The mission of the Production Cost Controller is to provide critical financial oversight and cost management for the production department. As a temporary position to backfill an existing role, the individual will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing production costs, ensuring accurate cost reporting, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction. The role involves close collaboration with production managers to understand the cost drivers and implement cost control measures. The incumbent will also be tasked with maintaining cost accounting systems, preparing cost forecasts and budgets, and contributing to the financial planning of the production unit. This position is pivotal in supporting the company's financial objectives by ensuring cost efficiency and effectiveness in production operations.

Duration: 12 months (temporary)
Responsibilities:
- Perform controlling activities during month-end closing (site costs, variances).
- Prepare monthly variances analysis (efficiency, volume, price).
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory departments to manage costs and supply chain efficiencies.
- Participate and support budget preparation (standard cost data collection and analysis, site cost, headcount).
- Support the preparation of the Budget Presentation to Product Supply Management.
- Support daily request and financial support to other departments.
- Participate in continuous improvement of the controlling team activities and tools.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to production costs and financial reporting.
- Participate in the financial audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations for production expenditures.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years in similar function/activities (experience in a multinational and pharmaceutical environment is a strong advantage).
- Working experience in financial analysis, accounting, controlling, or financial audit.
- Understanding of specific financials related to a production site (absorption mechanism, etc.) or agility to learn various subjects related to a production site (site cost, absorption, specific variances analysis).
- Strong ability to manage and analyze KPIs.
- Working experience with ERPs, such as Oracle and SAP.
- Easy to interact with various functions (Production, Supply, HR, etc.).
- Autonomy and interest in continuous improvement.
- Good level in Excel.
- Fluent in both English and French.
