This role will have no direct reports but will require strong interaction with different stakeholders (PM, Procurement, Legal, and QA etc) and Finance teams on all sites and at a divisional level.
Your Tasks:
- May prioritize, delegate, inspect, and/or assist with the work of other procurement staff within the department
- Leading project planning activities, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Developing project schedules, to ensure successful execution within established timelines
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the performance of both projects
- Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks within the projects
- Manage the cadence of reporting, updates and escalations on projects with stakeholders
- Coordinate and support discussions with internal and client stakeholders; ensure structured follow up process is maintained to track progress, decisions, and changes
- Ensures clear and direct 2-way communication within his/her team and other organizations
- Proactively manage potential delays, hindrances and develop action plans to address accordingly
- Develops insights that can be used to enhance customer satisfaction or other metrics
- Develop reports, readouts, and presentations
- Challenges the status quo and looks for opportunities to make improvements in the area of the business and beyond
- Secures buy-in from key stakeholders
Your Profile:
- Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Strong project management experience (project management certification highly desirable), preferably in a client facing role
- Knowledge of purchasing and invoicing principles, procedures and terminology
- Proactively seeks to understand internal/external customer and market needs
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, and prepare concise reports
- Proficient at using common tools used in project management/ management consulting roles (e.g. MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.) or other project planning & management tool
- Uses knowledge of his/her own business area and related areas to identify and develop operational/financial improvements
