Procurement Assistant
On behalf of our client, a global financial institution based in Basel, Swisslinx is seeking a dedicated Procurement Assistant to join their expanding Information Technology & Services (ITS) department.

In this role, you will work closely with an existing internal administrator, providing essential support in purchasing and procurement administrative tasks. As a highly organized professional, you will excel in interacting with multiple stakeholders effectively.

This is a temporary position (100%), with an immediate start date, (latest September 2024), and concludes on March 31, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with the administration of joiner, mover, and leaver processes for ITS (Information Technology and Services) staff and contractors
* Maintains ITS information on the intranet and in other systems, including the organisation chart
* Provide cover and back-up for similar coordination and administration functions within ITS
* Organises and coordinates meetings and events, both internal and external
* Updates ITS-relevant contact details in the Contact Management System
* Assist with other administrative tasks for ITS
* Handling day to day operational tasks and queries from suppliers regarding purchase orders and invoicing
* Collect purchase order requirements and perform quality control to submit into procurement system
* Prepare requisition requests for approval and submission
* Coordinate troubleshooting and resolve requisition and receipt issued between IT and Finance
* Data housekeeping (Excel/SharePoint)

Experience and Skills We're Looking For:

* At least 1 years of experience in purchasing or procurement administrative/support role
* Proficiency in Oracle Fusion, Microsoft Excel, and SharePoint
* Experience in identifying and resolve basic procurement-related issues or escalate them to the appropriate personnel. Strong customer service skills
* Hands-on experience with analyzing data and generating basic reports using Excel
* Willingness to travel (potentially)
