In order to strengthen our Perfume Travel Retail Europe & Africa unit based in Neuchâtel, we are recruiting a talented :

In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing high-impact marketing strategies to drive sales and brand awareness across our Travel Retail Europe & Africa channel. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including sales teams, client advisors, travel retail clients, and the central HQ based in Rome to ensure the effective implementation of marketing initiatives.

The role requires availability for business travels, approximately 10% to 15% (mainly international).

Accountabilities

Trade Marketing

• Define a trade marketing strategy tailored to the specific demands of the travel retail environment, ensuring a consistent brand image while pushing creative boundaries.
• Craft local go-to-market plans for product launches, coordinating all marketing initiatives, including promotional campaigns, pop-ups, and in-store events, from initial concept to execution.
• Foster tight collaboration with the sales team to ensure that marketing initiatives are fully aligned with strategic business needs.
• Engage in client meetings to present and negotiate win-win trade plans, ensuring alignment on vision, execution and expected outcomes.

Retail Excellence

• Ensure flawless in-store execution across our network, maintaining the highest standards of excellence for flagship doors (including visual merchandising updates, maintenance, etc.).
• Pilot the creation and installation of new personalized corners in collaboration with key stakeholders (clients, interior designers, sales teams, etc.) to elevate the brand image, enhance the in-store customer experience, and meet business needs.
• Adapt and implement visual merchandising guidelines (planograms, scenography, etc.) to elevate the brand image and ensure product portfolio coherence.

Business Analytics and Reporting

• Establish clear marketing performance targets, monitor and analyze results (both quantitative and qualitative), and make recommendations to continuously improve marketing campaigns.
• Consolidate and actively share best practices, experiences, and expertise with internal and external stakeholders (trade plans, launch reports, etc.).
• Recommend investment priorities, track the marketing budget, and evaluate ROI, adjusting forecasts to respond to market changes or strategic shifts.
• Synthesize the latest trends, innovations, competitive analysis, and consumer insights into actionable strategies.
  

Profile

Holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, you have at least 4 to 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably with previous experience in the luxury, beauty and/or travel retail industry. You have a proven track record of developing and executing successful and creative trade marketing strategies, supported by strong data interpretation skills that lead to informed decision-making.

Creative thinking, combined with a strategic mindset and a passion for fragrance, is a must. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel is essential.Finally, you are fluent in both English and French.
