People Operations Partner (80%-100%)

We are seeking a dedicated Junior People Operations Partner to join our team in Zurich. In this position, you will be pivotal in ensuring our team thrives in a supportive and engaging environment. As the central point of contact for HR matters in Switzerland, you will play a crucial role in talent development, recruitment, and the design and implementation of HR projects and processes. You'll collaborate closely with our People & Places team, based in both Amsterdam and Zurich.

By driving talent development and recruitment, you will ensure we attract and nurture talented professionals. Your work in developing and managing HR projects and processes will create an employee-centric environment where our talent can thrive, ultimately contributing to our mission of transforming healthcare through innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Be our primary contact for all HR-related topics in Switzerland.
  
• Support employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
  
• Drive talent and career development initiatives within the organization.
  
• Manage recruitment activities to attract and retain top talent.
  
• Implement and advance HR processes with a proactive and innovative approach.
  
• Handle HR administrative tasks, including contracts, social insurances, and payroll validation with our external payroll partner.

Your expertise

• A commercial training (KV) combined with a further education in HR (for example a Cert. HR Assistant) or a Bachelor's Degree in HR or equivalent.
  
• Initial HR experience, ideally in a small company or start-up environment.
  
• High ambition, energy, and a drive to grow into a senior HR role.
  
• A hands-on work style and a results-oriented mindset.
  
• Knowledge of Swiss labour law, social insurance, and payroll.
  
• Fluency in English and German; additional languages such as Dutch or French are a plus.

This position is a part-time role (60-80%). It is important for the applicant to be a resident in Switzerland, have a valid work permit and be within commutable distance from our office in Zurich. Given the nature of Kaiko's business and the fact that it deals with sensitive data, a Certificate of Conduct will be required upon finalizing the employment contract.
