Operational Buyer (m/f/d) - Procurement / Ordering / SAP / German / English
Project: For our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG based in Rotkreuz we are looking for an Operational Buyer (m/f/d)
Background: You will be part of a global organization in the Direct Procurement Operations department, which is responsible for the purchasing area "OEM/Third Party Finished Products" and thus for ensuring the supply of our diagnostic distribution centers in Indianapolis, USA and Mannheim. As a team member, you will be responsible for the execution of orders and receipts, first-level escalation to business stakeholders, master data management and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to ensure maximum value creation in the supply chain and operations.
The perfect candidate: We are looking for an applicant with completed training in the commercial sector and initial experience in procurement. We are also looking for a team player who is open to new things and has fluent German skills.
Main tasks and areas of responsibility:
• Order processing: - Generation of orders and calls in SAP - Processing of AV orders - Complete deadline monitoring of components (availability checks, order confirmations, exception notifications, reminders) - Clarification of invoice deviations outside of tolerances - Invoice approval in the event of deviations within certain limits - Determination and determination of the optimal delivery quantities and the required packaging materials • Supplier relationship: - Contact person in day-to-day business for the management of components of series devices and spare parts (including VMI, C-parts management, etc.) - Collaboration in supplier evaluation (on-time delivery, quality) - Determination of delivery frequencies - Definition of required safety stocks at the supplier (after consultation with strategic purchasing if price-relevant) - Complaints processing - Returns processing for QM reports WE and blocked warehouse
• Process optimization: - Collaboration in supplier and management statistics - Collaboration in the determination and evaluation of relevant key figures - Collaboration/management of projects
Must Haves:
• Completed commercial training / commercial training such as industrial clerk
• Advanced knowledge in the area of procurement
• Fluent German (at least native speaker C1/C2)
• Very good English skills (at least B2)
• Open to new
ideas • Ability to work in a team
• Good communication skills
• Cross-departmental thinking and action within the defined area of responsibility
Nice to have:
• good knowledge of Google Office applications
• several years of experience in purchasing
• good SAP knowledge
