We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Onsite Senior IT Support Specialist (OSS) to join our team in Ukraine. This senior-level role requires not only technical expertise but also the ability to take on a leadership position within the onsite IT team. The ideal candidate will manage onsite IT operations, providing robust support to ensure a seamless technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary onsite IT support contact, handling day-to-day technical issues for hardware, software, and network systems.
- Manage and support the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations.
- Lead and coordinate the onsite IT team, ensuring alignment with IT standards and best practices.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues, providing guidance and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate closely with remote teams to implement updates, policies, and improvements to the IT environment.
- Train and mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all IT security protocols and practices.
- Language skills: fluent English and Ukrainian, other languages are a plus
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong problem solving/analytical abilities
- Excellent communication skills and customer orientation
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task, handling multiple stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize and willingness to work self-sufficiently and well organized
- Team player and supportive personality
- Experience in regulated IT environments is a plus (e.g. GxP)
- All candidates must provide a Criminal record not older than 3 months
