Material Planner & Analyst Suppy Chain

A client specializing in innovative solutions in reproductive health, urology, gastroenterology, and orthopedics is seeking a dynamic Material Planner & Analyst to join their supply chain team and help drive their mission forward.
Material Planner:
- Place and manage purchase orders to ensure seamless manufacturing schedules using ERP systems.
- Optimize order sizes to secure the best purchasing prices.
- Drive and maintain stock levels in line with target goals.
- Reduce obsolescence costs through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and action plans.
- Ensure campaign spending aligns with budgets and proper cost allocations.
- Resolve invoice and payment issues to adhere to payment terms using Coupa.
- Maintain meticulous supply chain records for direct materials.
- Keep material forecasting updated in the ERP system.
- Communicate the material ordering plan effectively with the scheduling and warehouse teams.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for material and supplier selection.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure value delivery.
- Work with ERP process stewards to enhance capabilities and support the site's digital vision.
- Network with ERP experts to develop and share expertise.
- Continuously improve material management processes including safety stock, reorder points, replenishment lead time, and storage capacity.
- Support the local Manager of Planning & Replenishment.
- Integrate current and future demand and supply plans by capturing customer demand and assessing potential discrepancies and risks.
- Develop alternative scenarios with customer and business impact statements.
- Evaluate risks associated with scenarios and develop mitigation plans.
- Present data to key stakeholders as part of the S&OP process.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management) is preferred.
- Proven experience in direct material planning, ideally within a highly regulated industry.
- Proficiency in Oracle, Kinaxis, or relevant ERP systems (SAP).
- Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and Power BI.
- Excellent project management skills to support schedule delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management skills for effective collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Exceptional influencing and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in English and French is mandatory; German is a plus.
