Job Description
In this position, you will work across multiple areas within our growing Manufacturing Team:
- Responsible for Manufacturing activities of ophthalmic medical products within planned schedule and budget
- Responsible and accountable for compliance with Quality Management System procedures and regulatory requirements for Manufacturing activities
- Contribute to the strategy and success of projects supporting the expansion and growth of STAAR Surgical Switzerland
- Develop Manufacturing team to meet business growth, support Manufacturing Leads for recruitment of new employees
- Provide employee development opportunities through coaching, delegating and training
Your profile
- You have at least 5 years experience in the medical device field
- Experience in team management, leading and coaching a team is required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or related field
- Excellent knowledge of English as well as German and/or French (oral and written)
- Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to practically implement, cGMP/QMS/ISO requirements
- Good PC skills, especially MS office
- Flexible, resilient, team-oriented and proactive personality
- Efficient, reliable and quality-conscious way of working
