Lifecycle Project Manager (f/m/d)
The incumbent acts as the Project manager of all Villeret New Product Introduction and for Product Lifecycle Management activities.
As a project manager, the mission starts with the identification and definition of the company's needs, the evaluation of feasibility, profitability, and risks before defining the execution plan accordingly. He/she creates the project team sets up clear communication with all stakeholders, plans, follows the execution and ensures the coordination of all the actors, both internal (user, maintenance, quality, safety and environment, supply chain actors, purchasing, methods, headquarters, etc.) and external (manufacturers, subcontractors, building technology companies, etc.) in a matrix environment.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the link between the client, the stakeholders and the team throughout the project.
- Project Management:
- Work in partnership with the technical team to understand the investment required for each project and feedback it in a structured form to the product development team.
- Identify the resources required for the successful completion of the project.
- Carry out industrial projects
- Define the specifications, identify project risks and manage preventive actions/mitigations; Build/monitor the schedule and manage the budget
- Lead the phase reviews and coordinate the collection and formalization of evidence from the different phases of the project
- Lifecycle Management:
- Ensure proper and complete product industrialization by following product KPI’s after the serial phase-gate
- Analyze existing products production performances to build business cases for eventual design changes, local or global improvement projects, or product phase-out activities.
- Build the project team according to the necessary and available resources. Motivate, support, guide and coordinate project teams to develop a synergy to optimize the completion of the project.
- Understand the trade-off between a fast and technically complete industrialization, striving to achieve both, without compromising on product manufacturing quality.
- Collaborate with the relevant business units to deliver product innovations on time and develop new product offerings
The tasks related to this function are to be performed in compliance with the quality standards in force in the medical sector (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, MDR 2017/745 and CGMP 21CFR820) and ISO 14001.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, with a specialization in production techniques, or a degree/experience deemed equivalent. Several years of experience could be significant and equivalent
- Experience in project management in an industrial environment and understanding of production flows and requirements in an industrial environment
- Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals or any other highly regulated environment a plus
- Capable of managing tight timelines and conflicting priorities combined with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable in a multidisciplinary and matrix structure.
- Good knowledge of various methods and tools for problem solving and process improvement (Lean manufacturing) as well as Ttechnical knowledge of the following production processes is an asset: degreasing and industrial washing, CNC turning, (electro)chemical surface treatment, laser marking, dimensional control, packaging, automation and industrial vision.
- French Level B2 / English Level B2 minimum required. German (Level A2 or higher) is an advantage.Computer skills: Microsoft Office (including MS Project), SAP or other ERP (an advantage)
