We believe that inclusion is key to understanding people’s varied healthcare needs. Together, we embrace individuality and share a passion for exceptional care. Join Roche, where every voice matters.
At Roche, we are passionate about transforming patients’ lives and we are fearless in both decision and action - we believe that good business means a better world. We commit ourselves to scientific rigor, unassailable ethics, and access to medical innovations for all. We do this today to build a better tomorrow.
As part of the larger Data, Analytics & Research function within Roche Information Solutions, you serve as a source of best practices/quality and work independently within broad guidelines and policies, needing guidance in only the most complex situations. You are responsible for leading substreams and/or you participate in cross-functional project teams to solve complex problems by using analytical thinking, tools and judgment to identify innovative solutions for Diagnostics. You seek feedback from all stakeholders and colleagues regularly and adapt your behavior quickly. You live the operating principles and follow the guidelines of making impact now and thinking long-term in your daily work.
As Sr. Knowledge Engineer, you have a specialized depth and/or breadth of knowledge of FAIR, (semantic) data interoperability, healthcare ontologies, data models, terminologies and standards across digital products and systems within Diagnostics. You develop new approaches to complex problems pertinent to interoperability and standardization in healthcare. As a result, you may influence others to change their point of view and you may lead them to solve the problem.
You will also be responsible for leading the design and implementation of the data assets to support the transactional operations and the massive data processing (Big Data) to support use cases in Roche Diagnostics. You will be in charge of improving and auditing the data architecture, carrying out data governance functions, so that FAIR and data quality standards are ensured.
